disassembly allows us to clean and repair each panel and the cars shell prior to repainting.

Panels that can be media blasted are then treated with metal etching primers.  Media blasting reveals which panels can be repaired and ones that must be replaced.  The passenger door will need a replacement skin.

Rust Repairs.  Manufacturers like AMD make quality reproduction panels to replace areas that are rusted beyond repair.

Shell was chemically stripped and sanded to bare steel then sealed with two part epoxy prime by House of Kolor.  Media blasting the shell was not the best option since the trunk and engine compartments were already completed previously on this project.

New quarter panel fitted for welding.

Body panels are reassembled for fitment & blocking.  Then disassembled for additional coats of primer

Panels are wet sanded and then sealed before base coat

The cars shell is treated with sealer before being shot with two color coats.  Its then wet sanded again before additional coats of color.  The car is roughly assembled for paint to ensure that metallics are even throughout the body line.  Its then dissasembled for multiple layers of clear coat.

Clear has been applied and will be wet sanded one more time before the final coats of clear are applied
